Visit and interact with the museum’s temporary exhibit, “World War I and America”, sponsored by a grant received from the Library of America in partnership with the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History and the National Endowment for the Humanities. April 6, 2017 marked the 100th anniversary of the United States’entrance into World War I. Patrons will have a chance to walk through a WWI trench, learn what life was like for the soldiers and how Owensboro’s Homefront helped the war effort.
