Kids in the Kitchen!
Callings all kids! Become a “Kid in the Kitchen” and learn how to make Fruit Pizza Crackers! Our Junior League Kids in the Kitchen presenters will also be discussing demonstrating some great exercises for families! Join Mary Kissel and other members of the Daviess County Audubon Society and discover the many clues animals leave in the world around us! Wildlife may be closer than you think. Learn about some of the signs they leave behind, such as tracks and scat. You will get to make an animal track craft to take home! Visit and interact with the museum’s temporary exhibit, “World War I and America”, sponsored by a grant received from the Library of America in partnership with the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History and the National Endowment for the Humanities. April 6, 2017 marked the 100th anniversary of the United States’entrance into World War I. Patrons will have a chance to walk through a WWI trench, learn what life was like for the soldiers and how Owensboro’s Homefront helped the war effort. The exhibit has been extended through July 2019!

Brown Bag Lunch Concert Series Performance! Wednesday, April 24 @ 12:15 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Join us in our Mammoth Lobby for a free, lunchtime concert at 12:15 p.m. Enjoy music by Beethoven, Bach and Mozart performed by Kathleen Bell, Oboe, Kirsten Ahnell, Clarinet and Conor Bell, Bassoon.The performers will also discuss the music, the composers and their instruments.
