Symphony Storytime at the Owensboro Museum of Science and History!
We’re so excited to announce this great new community partnership courtesy of the Owensboro Symphony!
The premiere “Symphony Storytime at OMSH” will feature the reading of The Nutcracker and featuring musical interludes from Tchaikovsky’s famous work. Children will learn about the composer, the music heard and can ask questions and interact with the Owensboro Symphony’s education team! This engaging program will be fun, imaginative, and educational for all who listen.
OMSH will be holding the programs inside our new Early Childhood Education Little Tots Farm Gallery in the Sim and Sally Davenport Wing on our 2nd floor. The inaugural sessions will be held:
Tuesday, November 28, from 9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. (doors will open at 9:15 a.m.)
Tuesday, December 19, from 9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. (doors will open at 9:15 a.m.)
These programs are recommended for infants through children age five. No other museum section will be available until we open at 10:00 a.m. Symphony Storytime at OMSH is included with admission ($5/person, two and under are free) and free with OMSH Museum Membership!
Be sure to mark your calendars for The Nutcracker Symphony Storytime at the Owensboro Museum of Science and History on Tuesday, November 28, and Tuesday, December 19!
